Hola, I am Nathalie!
My profile : Tango fanatic
I’ve been dancing since I was a child: ballet, modern jazz and contemporary. My relationship with tango started tango in the 2000s.
Along my milonguero path, I’ve been lucky to study with internationally renowned teachers, including El Chino Perico, Marta & Chiche, Elba & Nito, Lorena Ermocida, Jimena Hoeffner & Fernando Carrasco (three-time metropolitan champions in 2013), Cristina Sosa & Daniel Nacucchio (world champions in 2008), Vanessa Vilalba & Facundo Piñero, Horacio Godoy and Ignacio Varchausky.
In 2011, I co-created Tanguito in London, a tango school that quickly made a name for itself thanks to its solid teaching methods and its big heart. Its Los Angelitos milonga is one of the city’s most welcoming balls.
I also launched my own tango clothing brand and organised the Che London! festival five years running, as well as annual tango trips to Buenos Aires and Japan.
In 2018, I moved to Buenos Aires to continue my training. This allowed me to immerse myself completely in the city and in the milonguero world.
After all this travelling, I’m back in my hometown of Lyon, France, where I teach. I also organise yearly Tango holidays to Buenos Aires. Looking forward to meeting you on the dancefloor! 🙂
What previous participants to the Buenos Aires tango holidays say…
“I had the pleasure of joining one of the trips to BA organised by Natalie back in the day when she lived and thought in London. Although this was very much a learning holiday we had plenty of fun in the process and the organisation was absolutely flawless. I would very much recommend any tango holiday or event organised by Natalie.”
